As the CEO of Thirty Ink, a dynamic house of brands, Curry oversees a diverse portfolio that includes Unanimous Media, Gentleman's Cut bourbon, and the Underrated Golf and Basketball initiative. This conglomerate is more than just a business; it embodies Curry’s vision of success beyond the basketball court.
In 2024, Thirty Ink reported impressive revenues amounting to $173.5 million. A significant portion of this revenue stems from Curry's association with Under Armour, where he serves as the president of the Curry Brand, focusing on basketball and golf footwear and apparel. In 2023, a landmark agreement granted Curry 8.8 million common shares of Under Armour, valued at about $75 million, along with numerous other incentives.
Despite the operational expenses tied to marketing and managing Curry's brand, Thirty Ink operates with remarkable efficiency. Unanimous Media, one of the key ventures within Thirty Ink, aims to elevate underrepresented voices in storytelling. Co-founded by Curry and Erick Peyton, the multimedia company focuses on creating projects centered around family, faith, and sports, with an emphasis on hiring diverse talent.
Curry remains closely involved in the company’s operations, overseeing nearly 40 projects. Peyton emphasized that the mission is to inspire a positive emotional response from audiences. Launched in 2018, Unanimous Media has performed profitably every year and continues to maintain a first-look deal with Comcast's NBCUniversal, a partnership that has been lucrative since its initiation.
In 2025, Unanimous Media plans to release “GOAT,” an animated feature film about a basketball-playing goat, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation. This project promises to capture the imagination in a lighthearted, animal-centric narrative.
Curry's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident in his business endeavors. His partnership with John Schwartz, the owner of Amuse Bouche Winery, to create Gentleman's Cut bourbon exemplifies this commitment. Although a potential minority stake deal that would bolster a Black-owned business fell through due to political headwinds surrounding DEI initiatives, Curry remains steadfast in his mission to promote equity.
His Underrated Golf initiative seeks to provide opportunities for Black and brown youth in a sport that has historically lacked inclusivity. In Curry’s own words, he believes in “walking the walk” and creating real opportunities for representation and participation in various fields. His businesses reflect a dedicated focus on grassroots initiatives to instill change and provide equitable access.
